Background
RH Boats is a brand manufactured by BlueEarth Marine LLC, a family-owned aluminum boat manufacturer based in Grants Pass, Oregon. RH formerly stood for “River Hawk” and the boats were formerly manufactured in Windsor, Georgia, as a jon boat and canoe manufacturer.
River Hawk Boats were designed to take the best elements of canoes and jon boats and turn them into a reliable, stable boat manufactured from strong aluminum instead of wood to eliminate the risk of rot and swelling. The hulls of these crafts also feature reverse chines that reduce the back-and-forth rocking motion that boaters dread, making it much easier to stand and hunt or fish from your boat.
The brand was acquired by BlueEarth Marine Group in December 2018. Today, RH Aluminum Boats are a leading product line for their parent company and they continue to be some of the best and most reliable boats on the market.
Boat Models
RH offers several types of affordable boats for a variety of purposes, but their focus remains on building quality fishing boats.
The Pro-V line comes in 16’ and 18’ lengths for a capacity of four or five passengers at a time, respectively. RH’s reverse chines are a standard feature on the Pro-V, along with three rod holders, vinyl floors, a marine sacrificial anode to reduce corrosion and a Fish-Pro seat on a four-legged pedestal for convenience.
The Coastal line comes in 19’, 20’, 21’ and 22’ lengths, allowing for up to nine passengers in the 22’ model and eight in the rest, making this a great boat for taking your family or several of your fishing buddies out for the afternoon. This boat boasts a 60-gallon fuel tank so you don’t have to worry about running out of gas in the middle of the water. A rotary steering system makes it easy to navigate the waters with this boat, too.
